A great addition but for the life of me I can't figure out how to level my position before the event starts e.g. green/red up.
Help please!

When you create a rule, in 'general' automation area, use the rule type 'Green all selections' or 'Close trade on selections'.
You should then nominate a time for when you would like this to happen.

Thanks but when I did this all of my parameters went missing.
Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but I'd like to keep all of my parameters/conditions the same but just level my position before the event starts.
I'm guessing I can't have two rules applied to the same market at the same time?

One Rules file can have multiple rules (just press the + button in the editor) triggered at different times as required, so have one rule to place the bet and a second to green up.

Starting to get it I think......I create a new rule and then save to the rule file with the other rule in?

That's right, and if you wanted to bet on three runners in a race you could create three 'place bet' rules and then a fourth to either green up or perhaps Take SP if preferred.

Hi
All I just looked at some of the video,s for the new BA version i.30. IMHO this is a mind breakdown for newbie traders, there is just to much info, I personally like the fact of manual trading (am in control of what am doing), the spreadsheet feature that shows your PNL for your strategy is not as good as having a visual bank, but saying that I will give that part of it a go. But with the recent inplay feature and now this, I think it is overkill of a great piece of kit. I would of like to of seen a feature where I can lay to a liability of, tried it within the bookmaking and liability tab, say want to lay a horse for a liability of -£74.25, or a feature of lay to a percentage of your bank. I will carry on the manual way as it is looking rosy doing it that way

Hi
I've been running this on a test account on the greyhounds this morning and then the racing this morning. I think it is a great addition. I didn't use it in isolation but in conjunction with excel.
For the next version would it be possible to have a rule that allows me to control the data request? (or even better in excel itself).
Thanks
Regards
Peter

I think this is the best update since I started using BA (four or five years). Excellent.
