But the focus today is surely Ascot and Haydock.

True. I cocked up the first few races, frustrated that it was taking a while to claw it back.

Spot on Euler. For me perhaps it's very easy to comment as an 'outsider' , but it is really not that hard. For all intent an purposes, it appears as if the UK Clubs are not really serious about catering for the betting public. Here in Australia we regularly have 12+ gallop meetings with a couple of greyhound and harness races thrown in for good measure and very rarely do we get the clashes that I consistently see and hear you all talk of.

Was exactly the same last week early on. Hopefully it will get going once ch4 enters the fray. The clashes are really messing pre race up though

I'd like to thank the racing authorities for making a miserable day. Last at Aintree off nearly eight minutes late, so they delay Wetherby which will now clash with Sandown. So basically nothing to be done on the last cycle of races.

 FFS

Despite being late a jockey jumps off for a saddle adjustment at Wetherby at it goes off 10 minutes late! Have to say this has been one of the worst days for clashing for some time.
