Nothing, providing you don't mind an unsustainable budget deficit and silly so-called equality laws!

But whatever my views on left-wing politics, my complaint is about the BBC's frequent political bias. I'm not happy for my license fee to pay for the BBC to indulge in one-sided reporting!
This is a particularly striking example of BBC bias:

This is the article (I've written the second of the pieces):
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12969922My thanks to Hgodden for helping me turn the first draft from a rambling sociology essay into something that hopefully won't lose the audience after the first sentence!

The article is currently at position 3 in the BBC's 'most read' rankings, ahead of 'Surprise inflation fall to 4%', but behind 'Clegg ambushed by Gillian Duffy'!
Good to see people have their priorities right!

I almost spat my coffee out Jeff!
If you're going up to women in the high street and asking them if they come here often, this explains why you turned to internet dating sites

The hypothetical character was not based on me!
But I think that the line, when delivered with self-deprecating irony, may work!

ha ha! I remember saying to my son (jokingly) that in my young days we had good chat up lines and that when I met his mum I asked if her dad was a thief because he stole the stars from the sky to make her eyes! and that he should use that chat up line in future...he stated laughing and said "dad nowadays we just ask then if they fancy a shag!!"
Regards
Peter
PS I once tried to trap off with a girl who was eating fish and chips at a bus stop and asked her "What's a nice plaice like that doing in a girl like you"..but in hindsight, it was wasted on a girl who didn't even know what day it was..!
