Quite.
Teresa May's response was useless. Telling the rioters that they would face the full force of the law isn't going to scare them! They might be thick, but I think they know that arson is a jailable offence!

FFS this is exactly what happens when you sit back and do nothing, people think they can get away with it, they need to crush this and fast.

The media are adding to the problems.
Even the Brummies are trying to get involved now..... why?
This has absolutely nothing to do with Policing, shootings or anything at all really. It is about thieving and mindless vandalism. These same wankers will be moaning their estate is a shite hole.
Declare a state of emergency and draft in the Army, water cannons, tear gas. FFS why not even call in Gadaffi's boys to help out. Recall parlament and pass an emergency law that states anyone identified to be involved in this madness will have their bollocks cut off, knee capped and then be stoned to death.
It might seem OTT, but this is a pretty poor show. If I was a Met Policeman I would be tendering my notice about now, how can you keep law and order when you can't even shoot someone who has a gun? If he didn't want to get shot he should not have been carrying a gun. Hasn't he been watching traffic cops?
Does anyone remember Broadwater Farm in 85? This is the same crew (their kids no doubt) Remember when they captured poor PC Blakelock and hacked him to death? More force please Ms May

It's like something out of a comedy!
The PM decides not to address the nation about the financial meltdown or the riots in his capital city.
But never one to miss a good PR opportunity, he finds the time to apologise for not tipping a waitress who had told him to wait because she was too busy to serve him!
What planet is that joker living on?!?

And I haven't heard a thing from Ed Milliband about the riots!
David Cameron presents him with an open goal by fiddling whilst London burns, and he politely declines, rather kicking up such a ****storm in the media that Cameron would feel compelled to return from holiday!
