Have to say I don't blame Suarez. If someone insulted me, and then got me into trouble for insulting him back, I wouldn't want to shake his hand...

Clearly you know better than the 100 plus page report on the incident that formed the basis of his conviction.
You should have let Liverpool know about your information.
Then they could have appealed.

Spot on, as Ferguson said if he has clearly doen nothing wrong why not appeal?
Suarez, Dalglish both showing their total lack of class today.
Amazing to think that Liverpool were once a successful, proud football club.

Did I write anything that was at odds with the findings of that report?
Anyway, something like 97% of cases brought by the FA succeed. The word 'Banana Republic' comes to mind for some reason...

I spent many years covering top flight football for the media, and without doubt Liverpool were always the most unfriendly, unhepful and surly bunch - especially while Dalglish was in charge. By contrast, their fans were brilliant.

Probably not the most appropriate metaphor.
It's a serious problem, to be taken seriously.
Please do so.

"We are all professional and we have to concentrate on our job on the pitch. It is between two individuals and is not for us to get involved with."
Wayne Rooney
Spot on.
It's a petty dispute between two people who were winding each other up, today and on the day of the original dispute. Even Sir Alex said today that 'Evra shouldn't have jumped in front of Suarez in celebration at the end', and it's almost unheard of for him to single out a player for criticism!

As a Man U fan, I have to concede that they still are...
What have Liverpool done to lower themselves in your estimation, apart from showing support for a colleague who they obviously felt wasn't even remotely racist, and had been a victim of political correctness?

Evra was out of order at the end trying to stir a reaction.
