Well done LeTiss, spot on. I laid Redknapp in the hope he would drift a bit at some point. But still surprised they are going for Hodgson.

Given Hodgson's performance at Blackburn and Liverpool I think the next trade should be to lay England at Euro 2012.

Given his performance at both Fulham and WBA where hd to try and make inferior players punch above their weight I think he is an excellent choice as England manager who will probably do quite well.

Hodgson is confirmed, on a FOUR YEAR contract!!

Surely four years is madness considering that appointing Hodgson instead of Rednapp is considered to have been done in part due to saving money? What if he has a bad Euro 2012? IMO the FA should have just given it to him for Euro 2012 or for 2 years. If it all goes pear shaped (obviously I hope if doesnt but these things do happen) and they have to replace him then they're going to be paying another manager years worth of compensation. If we do badly in the euros every man and his dog are going to be saying 'sack roy and put in harry'.

They will probably sack him before the four years are out and he will walk away with a 7 figure payoff..like normal (and that will be on top of a 7 fig sum for his annual salary!)

Asking him about playing in South Africa 40 years back and his views on apartheid was just embarrassing. You almost get the feeling they won't give him a chance
