That Newcastle win will add some pressure onto Man City.

Why Man City and Man Utd are not playing at the same time? In my view it's very odd that 2 teams that are playing for the premier league title are playing @ 13,30 and 16,00..

???
I am watching Man city in Italy....and I will watch man utd as well...My point is the two teams are level on points and should play at the same time as a matter of advantage that can have Man utd after Man City result.

Yes, but you get greater advertising revenues from two matches than from one.

Jeff
PS Go Newcastle!!!!

Yes I got that, maybe I should have elaborated more - only the last weekend of the season everyone plays at the same time (like in Italy I suppose?)
It has always been like this here, and when the games are shown is up to the TV companies. I remember a similar situation (I think in 1999) when Man Utd and Arsenal were fighting for the title and Arsenal had to play first on the penultimate weekend away at Leeds. Arsenal lost which meant that Utd only needed a point away at Blackburn to be in front for the last weekend. They got a 0-0 by taking no risks. I think I'm right in saying that at the time Sky UK part owned Man Utd

Of course no team should have an advantage. Either by having a later kick off time or an oil rich billionaire sugar daddy

Bzzzzt!

This is what you're thinking of (from Wikipedia):
'Manchester United was floated on the stock market in June 1991 (raising £6.7 million),[111] and received yet another takeover bid in 1998, this time from Rupert Murdoch's British Sky Broadcasting Corporation. This resulted in the formation of Shareholders United Against Murdoch – now the Manchester United Supporters' Trust – who encouraged supporters to buy shares in the club in an attempt to block any hostile takeover. The Manchester United board accepted a £623 million offer,[112] but the takeover was blocked by the Monopolies and Mergers Commission at the final hurdle in April 1999.'
