Hi Peter,
At least once a week I manage to accidentally close Betangel.
Is it possible to set it up so that clicking the X will minimize to tray instead, and/or bring up a confirmation window? I've seen this approach on some downloaders and skype for example.
Thanks,
Sprinter

The whole point about the way windows operates is that the X at top right closes the window/application. The _ to the left reduces the window to the taskbar. I find it bloody annoying when stupid programs reduce when I click to close them. If you are clicking this accidentally, then it might be worth moving the window or setting it smaller, so that the X in Bet Angel is not in the same part of the screen as all the other Xs.

HI Nic,
I fully agree that it can be also be annoying when programs minimize instead of closing.
However for me, its not uncommon for me to have ten or more windows/programs open at any point, and these are constantly being swapped between and resized and moved around the screen depending on what information i need most right then.
Unfortunately I relatively frequently close betangel when working (at least once or twice a month), and this usually results in two things.....firstly is that any automation rules need to be resorted and reapplied, but more importantly is that many rules can no longer be reapplied, because references to inplay time are destroyed.
This has resulted in enough unneccessary reds and missed trades that i really try to e careful about closing stuff, but it still occasionally happens.
For me, i would prefer Betangel to minimize if there is any automation running in Guardian or Excel, but I fullly accept that adding a confirmation screen before closing would also work equally well if not better.
