I wonder what the logic is in suspending for a goal in football, but not a wicket in cricket?

I've raised that question many times, but have never received an answer that adequately explains why!

I have no idea why they suspend markets at all. I appreciate a goal probably has more of an effect on the market than a wicket but then again that's not always the case.

The fact that the market doesn't suspend in cricket offers a trader some great opportunity. No doubt courtsiders too

If you look at the mess a lot of footy matches has become, it would seem sensible to just leave them unmanaged.
