I've never encountered such a humiliation so I'm just sitting watching, and drinking. :D

I've had a wee lay at evens that they score less then 115 because I'm just experimenting with that market but I think there was a 3-figure sum available if I wanted it. Another wicket as I type.
Lucky you! How did you know it would be a humiliation? :ugeek:

I seem to be getting stung by these freak results lately. 1.01 before the second innings.

All out for 55 after 13.4 overs. There's a guy playing for St. Lucia who's as big as Jeff Capes. I was going to ask how he can run for the ball but as I type, I guess he's the wicketkeeper. :)

That wasn't pre-match, that was after a few overs. It might have been a bot, somebody not watching the match, or somebody with superior knowledge of cricket to me who felt the next batsman will knock a few boundaries. ;)

Hes a spin bowler. He was left out of the Windies side as some selctors felt he was a bad image. He still got in.

Hes not great, but can hit the ball a long way.

Zouks have been crap all year -- its a travesty they get into the final.

I'm struggling to see much on my little Betfair window that doesn't do full screen but I think he's knocked 2 maximums in the first 3 balls!

I've either got to learn a lot about cricket or take the cold-trading approach. :)

I'm kind of thinking the same, go back to blindly laying the draw and call it a day. Ever since I went off that strategy I've been getting roasted.

Can someone more knowledgable than me, tell me if it's being wishful (stupid) to be treating each of these games as if it will be a turnaround?

That was some annihilation.

If you could jump on board that train early you would have made good coin. Problem is identifying the entry point. After the first wicket? Second? Third? This I'm yet to learn.

My experience lies with pre-off horse racing, I'm learning to trade cricket as well. I usually look to lay at a short price if there's potential for a turnaround. But I felt as weary to lay St. Lucia as I would have been to get into a fight with Rahkeem Cornwall. ;)

T20 is a v different event to trade compared to tests.

You have many different factors.

The biggest problem is that the market is pretty accurate.

The IPL starts in 10 days. That’s as accurate as in-play pricing gets.

Maybe try some of the less liquid games.

I don’t think there is another test match scheduled till Dec.

So, the CPL final will be between the unbeaten Trinbago side, (10-0) against Zouks (6-0).

The data from Betfair is 5 days delayed, so the most recent game isn't available as a graph yet.

Previous encounter :

If there is any justice, Trinbago win easily.

Thank you Megarain. I think you just saved me some beer money.

Have you tried setting your price scale to log? I find it makes it much easier to see movements when the prices get high / low.

There is a scale in the software - I just picked one that I thought was best. Sorry the prices are off the screen.

Will be interesting to see what St. Lucia Zouks turns up at the final. I take it you don't want them to win Megarain.
