The game had a perfect script.

Lancs overnight 1.65 after announcement 4 keys Yorkies missing.

Bounce to 1.8x when Root announced as playing.

Lancs bat first on a pitch always going to be difficult to score 2nd half runs, and if Lancs had scored the 190 they were on track
too, the game was done.

They didnt, and Root/Lyth scored enough to make the game a formality for Yorks, before 1 wkt brought 3 - and the pressure told.

I also murdered a great book - don't feel bad.

OK we have the IPL 2020 upon this, interested to see how much is matched on 1st game - over 50 million matched would be lovely to show Indians are still getting their money on.

The opening fixture is the same as 2 years ago when there was an almighty 1.01 gubbing .

Was beginning to rub my hands with glee until Delhi Capitals got 30 runs in the final over, knocking out my position. :(

Very unfortunate to be on the wrong end of that.

I laid under 135 runs at a short price so no real loss, but I thought it was in the bag. :)

What a stroke of luck - I had a red book either way. :D I think people were laying Kings XI Punjab for the last ball at 1.01 even though they couldn't possibly lose.

To encourage the spectacle of T20 I've always felt a one bounce 4 should be a 5! :) But Emmson is right, there are many ways to score a 5 it's just they are not very frequent … a no-ball that goes to the boundary is another and an 'all run' 5, yes, very unlikely but … youtube.com

My brother who's five years older than me once whacked the ball over the park fence and scored about 30 runs while I ran out of the park to get it. :x

Another bizarre IPL game and we only at 1/2 way. ;) we already at 25 million matched so we may get that 50 million matched game.
