Hi I was referring to UK dogs during last 9 days. Last couple of days has seen an improvement. The Silk Run wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 8:51 pmHi Hi ANGELS15ANGELS15 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 9:22 amI was wondering if anyone can shed any light on some odd betting shows from some of the dog meetings over the last week. Basically at some of the meetings (Henlow springs to mind) markets are formed near the time of the race but remain unsuspended for long periods like 30 minutes or more after the official race time.
No pictures available on Betfair. William Hill do free dog pictures but no pictures there either. Not only no pictures but the video symbol to click on is missing for some of these meetings. No tweets from tracks to indicate racing delayed, abandonded etc.
I find it strange that apart from myself only 1 or 2 others have noticed this?
Yesterday I set up some automation for the dogs came home around 5.45 to find about 6 races from earlier in the afternoon were still unsuspended.
Whenever I've noticed this I've felt compelled to go into guardian and remove the remaining races for the particular meeting.
I must confess I know far less about dog racing compared to Horse racing. It's possible some of these meetings may not be part of 'BAGS'? I noticed on the Sporting life website dog results they don't include Henlow.
However whenever I've been in a bookies you can normally see pictures from all these meetings. Also if they are racing delays it's odd to have this many in just 1 week.
I believe Sky Sports is the preferred viewing platform for Australian Greyhound Racing.

I noticed on a few earlier races that day there was no data - nothing on the ladder or one-click- I thought it was my internet connection or laptop Is anyone still experiencing this?
When the hard work finally begins to pay off. Even happier because every penny made was 100% automated. I'm not one for posting P&L but feeling pretty good about this one

Thing to do now is to simply leave it to do it's thing, don't try to micro manage or tweak it for the time being. Obviously code out any errors that may arise but try to avoid the temptation to tweak it to eek extra profit, just let it do it's thing for a couple of weeks. That should hopefully throw up any areas that need amending.
Good call, and that was my plan. This is just for the UK so going to leave that running as is and spend some time getting the same setup for Aus, run that on paper and see if it can be replicatedspreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 3:19 pmThing to do now is to simply leave it to do it's thing, don't try to micro manage or tweak it for the time being. Thats brilliant great job!
When you say fully automated was it just using Bet Angel or did you use Excel?

My excel bots look as ugly as sin but thankfully hit the back of the net every so often.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 3:50 pmTwo Beautiful Interfaces almost ready to deploy into Uk and Aus Markets

Careful Shaun, people could reverse engineer what your doing from that screenshot.

I very much doubt it. Can't be done with BA anyway.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 6:12 pmCareful Shaun, people could reverse engineer what your doing from that screenshot.

But I do have a database of every price movement on dogs from when market is formed until it’s suspended and off.
From that I could search those prices and work out times and from that probably work out your entry points. Then use some machine learning to work out why and/or any patterns.
Or it could be your offering prices to an over round and then chasing prices up/down to create a book profit overall.
