it might be a read only file. try downloading the file.
once on your PC, right click the file and check the preferences
to see if it is "read only"

Hi Memphis,

Do you have to manually enter your results into the file?

Ron the original file is here, I think the other one needs permission from the other guy who changed it.

This one

viewtopic.php?f=54&t=133#p720

is free to edit.

Not sure how well it works I just downloaded it and need some tweaking for certain markets, probably place markets from what I can see at a glance. Might have a play around with it after racing, but it does display most market fine for me.

You'll need to change the file directory to your own or add the tweak I suggested in the viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14872&hilit=greyhound+data#p133001 thread

I haven't refined my automation enough to look at specific races, so I just set a hurdle of £5k by 60 seconds to activate any trading.
Hi Euler,

Does this mean your automation only kicks in the last 60 seconds of a race?

I've just started putting some time and effort into the dogs so would appreciate if anyone could point me to a resource that explains the grading i.e. strongest to the weakest race types etc...

Thanks

I looked at the file and started tweaking it but it's a bit of a pain as Betfair don't keep the data in a regular format between the AUS and UK markets so it's a bit of dirty coding trying to fix errors that cropped up along the way :) Anyway I'll post it up as I'm sure Nigel won't mind the tweaks and if I get time I'll try and tidy it up and it miht be useful to some
