I looked into Aussie greyhounds, most of the liquidity arrives just after the race's scheduled start, as plenty of races start 30sec-1min late.

As you can imagine, it's not ideal to open a trade after scheduled start time: the race might suddenly start and you're left with a trade you can't close.

Is there any website that gives the pre-race status? (parading, loading traps, etc.). I tried TAB Radio but the delay makes it not good enough.

Yes they are a challenge, especially for bots that fire off at advertised start time. In Australia you need to listen to AM radio to avoid delay. FM or the Internet no use, because of delay. Race has finished when you think it's started! If you're in the UK, maybe a short wave radio can pick up the AM station? Stick to UK dogs, better liquidity and real time signal.
