Taking SP

Sometimes the greyhounds start before the official off. Also sometimes, you don't quite fill your back or lay order to green up, which depending on how much you put into the market puts you at potential risk.

I was just wondering if placing bets (set to take SP) can help you reduce this risk. Is this a good safety net strategy or is it flawed?

No SP on greyhounds at all unfortunately. I think it would be quite a good idea if Betfair did offer this.
