I'd imagine somebody in the editing room is acting on that footage or leaking it perhaps?

Yes. It shows how these markets should be traded with caution though, Peter

It's not like studying form is it? - the prices can be manipulated quite heavily by ITV's editing

what you probably know already is that due to the time difference (10 hrs), the edits are taking place somewhere between 13:00 and 18:00 on the day of transmission, so you might want to monitor the prices inside that time window for *hints* ;)

I posted a tweet yesterday, questioning the potential betting scandal of this show!

Who gets access to the edited show before it gets aired?

It felt as though somebody was playing the markets that has behind the scenes access
I find this comment a bit strange coming from someone as cunning and experienced as you, is acting on faster info a scandal?.

The tv show is only a replay of a 'match' that happened 12 hrs ago so dozens of people all with friends and family know what's happened and what's likely to air, plus the producers have the narrative planned for days ahead. If people are betting on a tv replay then why's that any concern of the production company? That's why it's a novely market for a fun bet, not business proposition.

Perhaps BF should treat it like the SCD market, suspend it while the action is being filmed, and then reopen it after it's been aired?

The show, which will air in the UK at 9pm is watched by the Extra Camp team at around 2am which is around 1pm UK time. This was stated on the show the other night.

Does anyone here fancy working as a 'campsider', hiding in the trees with a camera hidden in their pith helmet :)

Might be worth botting the show to snap the prices around that time and compare against the show start. I see Harry's odds have come in from lunchtime so on that basis he's up for a good show. Nicks came in slightly and Emily's lengthened but never much liquidity left at reasonable prices in the downtimes.

Tonight's show will heavily feature the quest challenge obviously but then the banquet after, which I would suspect will lead to 'arry giving us some more classic stories. He has been brilliant in this years show. Nick has a very large following from DIY SOS so I think he is still a very interesting contender for the title and seems to be hugely respected and liked in the camp by all. As long as the cooking doesn't become an issue he is looking very interesting.

With you all the way on that PDC. But I've exited today, I can't see any value anymore. I've just taken the money and just going to watch it from now on....unless some value appears later of course.

Nick Knowles looks value to me.
19yrs of SOS, done loads for the forces too...that's a lot of good will . Ladies like him, men respect him, won't mind some hardship. Could be wrong but midweek next week, 15 now will look like a bargain.
I'm a bit miffed though that I didn't see there was going to be a genial Harry underneath that Droopy the Dog face though ;)

The best line I thought came the other night when Noel had a funny ribbing of 'arry over his tax return. Made me

I agree the best of the market has happened now and I am very happy with how it has played out. Unless we start to get some arguments, which I don't yet rule out as it has still only been a week with 2 more to go, I don't envisage any big moves. Or unless we get a surprise eviction as has happened in the past, eg. Jimmy Bullard.

Still thoroughly enjoying the show and although I miss Ant, I watch it as much for the funny links as anything else, I think Holly is settling well into it as his stand in. Dec had a good few funny jibes at Holly in last nights show :)

I've not done much with this market in the past but until the evictions start coming or a 'major' storyline begins to unfold ill mainly be sitting on hands now

Noel out at odds of 15-1 in the first eviction.

the only downside is that he (Noel) said he'd retire if he WON IAC - oh well, back to more taxing matters ... :ugeek:
