Starts tonight at Ally Pally!

Always good entertainment, but often cracking markets to trade as well - lots of liquidity and lots of swings

2 women playing this year, and the first one plays tonight, Lisa Ashton

De Zwaan is incredibly short in the first match. He's not exactly Mr Consistent, so I'd rather lay him at odds of 1.03

Love it over Christmas, don't watch much over the rest of the year mind but as you say great entertainment. Hope Barney does well in his last tournament 8-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JMiAP1XAlw

This isn't his last tournament. This is the beginning of his final year on the tour, so Ally Pally next year will be his last

She looked desperate to celebrate wildly after winning that first set, won the world cup but then had to come out again.

Good trading match that. Ashton looked worth a decent lay after set 1

These 1st round matches have produced some hit & miss matches - some of them have been a pretty average standard
