Annoyed I didn't get up to trade this now. There was a couple of times last season where I profited on a improvised Raikonnen strategy and I'm confident I'd have picked up on it this race as well in real time.

On to Malaysia next anyway which usually presents it's own extreme challenges (namely the changeable weather).

On 11 of the 17 Australian Grand Prix the winner goes on to win the championship.

Got very lucky today, backed Vettel for the win as i assumed he would get by Webber in the pits or at some point towards the end,

Didn't expect him to completely ignore team orders like that through, got to feel sorry for Webber there.

LOL on Hamilton when he tried to pit at McLaren.

Managed to make some profit from Vettel's first pit stop as he filtered into the pack on a drying track but other than that just sat back and watched.

Saw Webber at 1.55 on the 43rd lap and thought "I've been watching this for years only one winner now, no lay" only for Vettel to act like a complete idiot.

If i was in charge at Red Bull Vettel would be toast after that.

No driver should be bigger than the team,
3 time champ or not.

He will just a slap on the wrist though im sure.

An interesting race. I'm gathering loads of data on F1 this year so may be able to offer some insight as we move through the season. It's quite interesting to see how tracks differ.

Not sure what Vettel was thinking?

Loved Hamiltons attempt to pit at McLaren, so funny.

Vettel like so many before him is win at all costs,
Nothing new here really, but it is incredibly dumb and disrespectful to ignore and embarrass the team that has provided him with 3 championship winning cars.

He certainly needs to keep his ego in check and realise that he has been in a very lucky position and that a lot of other drivers could do the same job in a Redbull, he’s may be a special talent but he’s certainly not unique.

This incident reminds me a lot of Gilles Villeneuve V's Didier Pironi Battle at San Marino 1982

It seems despite the apologies Vettel says he will passs Webber again if a similar situation arises... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22106490 ...I suspect if he tries it, Webber would would take them both out. Murray always said that this is F! and anything can happen ... and probably will. Will perhaps lay them both if they are in 1-2 position in future race??

Very mixed picture, but that's fairly normal it seems nowadays. Let's hope it's not serious.
