Senators and Canadiens are top teams in league when it comes to defense. Home team is leting in only 1,84 goals per game and visitors have an average of 2,11. In last seven games Montreal had 3 shutouts and only twice conceded more than two goals, and both times from teams that are more agressive and more powerful in attack than senators.
Senators are even more concentrated on defense. In last eight games only twice have they let in more the than 3 goals and both of them when adapting to play without Karlsson. Also, Ottawa is not realy an efficient team ,they scored more than 2 goals in only four out of 12 games.
This doesn't mean that both teams are ofensivelly awful. They can score goals when they have an agressive opponent who leaves a lot of space when going forward but this for sure won't be the case. Three days ago they played with each other and it ended only with 3 goals. There is no reason why this one should be an exception.
