I know a few people here like to dabble in Reality TV, me included

Attraction are very short - currently 1.29

BGT has 2 of the biggest Reality TV upsets I've ever seen.
Susan Boyle 2009 + Ronan Parke 2011 were both trading at incredibly short prices before being turned over. Even last year, Jonathan & Charlotte were heavy odds on before the final started, only to be mugged by a 17 year-old and her dog

Anyone fancy laying Attraction?

Good call LT Little downside on this considering past history.

What the rules for the final, public votes & panel?

I'm wondering if the big thing going against attration is they are not British on a show called Britains got talent.

It's a public vote, the panel have no influence over the result.

Yes, they are Hungarian. I'd actually overlooked that Peter. That makes them an even more interesting lay at 1.29

Can me a cynic but it feels like there is a good chance that the majority of the watching audience may develop xenophobic tendencies as we approach the climax. Especially if there is a suitable british competitior.

I am a player in Reality markets (in fact 70% of my winnings come from them) with some notable 5 figure sums.

The Final (on Sat) is a straightforward public vote, so the judges can't do a thing.

I backed Attraction mostly at 6/4 and 11/8 and the polling data so far indicates a clear win (3 times the number of votes v the nearest act). Le Tiss, I know they are very short but Pudsey was always beating Jonathon/Charlotte in the finals week and Susans bad publicity leading up to the final did for her chances. I can't see Attraction getting beaten when they traded at 1.01 to win their semi final (a real tear jerker). I suspect they will do a skit on Moses or some other biblical event for the final and its odds on that they will get the pimp spot on the night. There isn't a clear British "other act" that the public can support so I don't think the fact that they are from Budapest, perhaps the most beautiful city in Europe (been there 7 times) will affect the result.

A far better bet and more interesting is the second place (w/o Attraction) where Jack has to be great value.

First our jobs and now our talent contests. We can't let eastern Europe know about our pies and fish chips.

You clearly know your eggs, James

Do you know, or remember what the polls were saying for those previous favourites?

Oh, they pulled a fast one, getting on the patriotic side of Britain, I think they have done enough! Smart, smart, move.

Yeah, a pretty big drift.

I think the content was missing a bit from their earlier performances. Going to be an interesting vote.

Don't you think going last would be of benefit?
