It has been fine for me since I posted the above. Fingers crossed it holds up for the big one.

And the weather holds so we get some decent oncourse punting action.

Think it says something about the customer base of Betdaq that the National volume was so far off Betfair's. Obviously the very casual punter just doesn't use them, probably because they've never heard of them! Still, many of these people only bet once a year so it's no great loss I guess.

Y, the volume difference was stark. Traded OK but no life changer.

Yup it wasn't the greatest trading market - wasn't many layers around I found. On the plus side the site held up fine.

I did better on many other races over the meeting. Agree about the lack of layers. I even saw the book go overbroke a few times which is pretty impressive in such a big field. Ended up arbing some positions into Betfair as just couldn't get my back bets matched at a decent price.

Ayr liquidity is strong today. Just bagged a decent profit on Betdaq and a loss on Betfair!

I've found it like that today too.

Got a better result on Betdaq than betfair on the Scottish national, though it was a pretty poor result really considering the grade of race.

Could have been worst though as there was a lot of nasty spikes late on that i was lucky not to have been on the wrong side of.

Punchestown is trading really well on Betdaq this week

And again today, pretty high numbers in comparison to Betfair and fill rate is excellent.

Love how when Betfair goes down the money on Betdaq (Punchestown) is virtually non existant

About £300k, but the middling races are weak. It needs that extra structure to really work.

Chester yesterday was OK-ish, however today it was real struggle to get matched.
Hope they haven't forgotten about introducing SP, that could help with liquidity just pre off.
