I've been using bet angel for a couple of weeks now and have regularly been backing and laying on horse races with stakes of just £1.

I learnt today that the minimum stake on betfair is £2.

How am I able to make stakes of £1 if that is the case?

Am I risking getting into trouble with betfair?

Bet Angel does this by placing two bets starting with a £2 bet way outside the odds it then cancels the excess and moves what's left to the odds you placed it at, as long as you remember that each sub £2 bet requires two transactions and you don't go over a total of 1000 per hour you wont get charged.

is the transaction count not 3 for a sub £2 bet? I think the explanation in this thread says 2 transactions.

trans 1. place unmatched bet for £2 @ 1.01 or 1000.
trans 2. cancel a portion of the £2 unmatched bet to leave the desired stake.
trans 3. replace the price to the desired price.

Its 2 transactions, its 1 to place the bet and another to move it (reducing the bet amount or cancelling a bet does not count as a transaction)
