Hi all

If someone has a moment could you let me know what the figures circled in red and blue on the attached refer to?

On the 3 selections I understand the liability figure under Czech Republic but what do the two £3 under Nigeria and the Draw refer to.

And secondly what do the percentage figures in the odds section refer to

you have laid the czech republic for a liability if that wins of 8.25.
should the czech republic lose then you win £3. (less commission)

those are the market overrounds

sum of all outcomes/probabilities approach 100% in liquid markets

ie the overround of a coinflip would be 1/2 + 1/2 = 100%

Many thanks for the advice. I'm just trying to dip my toe at the moment but finding hard to find real beginners info. Even some of the articles I've found for 'beginners' assume basic knowledge.

Just playing around with some low bets laying the draw etc at the moment and taking it from there.
