I am new to the bet angle software.

Next to the top of the ladder it has graph and green number $0.00 but it was in green of $24 with a bet backed and lay

But for some reason I only got won the $2.00 place back I though since the lay and back were matched I get the green number at the top which was $24.00

But as you can see in image I only one $2 back

I don't under stand it.

You didn't green up!

If you back a horse for $2 at 60 and then lay it for $2 at 48, you stand to win $24 if the horse wins. It's known as a free bet.

If you greened up, the software would have laid it for $0.50 at 48 ($24 / 48), thereby sacrificing your free bet but giving you a guaranteed profit of $0.50 (25%).

Thanks again. I did a different method I used a calculator how much I should lay and was able to come away with $1 extra a good start even though on small ammounts.

I have not learned how to add how much I should lay i need a calculator.

Your trading software should do the calculations automatically. Most traders simply click on the green-up column of the ladder - nobody's really got the time to use a calculator as trading is a fast moving game.

Have a look at some of the videos on this site if you are unsure.
