back the field

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Hi, i'm a newbie. How can i back all the field at the BSP? Is it possible? Thanks for you reply.

Yes, the easiest way is on the manual bet screen, just click 'back all' @ 1000 or any odds well above the outsider
Then click take SP near the bottom of the screen

If you want to back anything at BSP you only have to put the back bet in before the off at a price higher than it is likey to trade at before the off and mark it as 'take sp'
Technically therefore if you back all at 1000 and mark them all as take sp you will have backed the field.
Betfair will only include a bet at sp if it meets their minimum requirement.

So on Betfair you can click on the SP button for a back and lay. Sometimes when I do a lay I will click the SP button then enter a liability amount which then limits it... how can i do this in bet angel. Also is that the only way I can lay @BSP as described above as that would be nice to have like the betfair interface
