Hi,
I am finding that Guardian is missing some suspended markets. Here is the log.
Backed before going in-game (3.00 p.m. kick off), but there was a goal after 4 minutes in this game. If the log shows no unsuspended, it would account for why the signal didnt fire.
However,...
The rule at 16:11:55 is the same signal, and one of its conditions is unsuspended>90 secs. So, if the rule fired (which it did as there was another goal at 51 minutes), why isnt the unsuspended shown in the log, or if there was not unsuspended, how did the rule fire?

The goal signal conditions are:
Last Traded price now -8 ticks < Last Traded price 90 seconds ago
Time since last unsuspended > 90 secs

15/12/2018 14:57:17: [G_Auto] : £ 10.00 Back bet placed on 1 - 1 at 7. Fully matched at 7. Ref: 10161
15/12/2018 15:00:14: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
15/12/2018 15:00:14: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
15/12/2018 15:00:49: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
15/12/2018 16:11:55: [G_Auto] : Automation Signal for 1 - 1: goal = 1
15/12/2018 16:12:00: [G_Auto] : Greened up 1 - 1 by Laying 21.21 at 3.3
15/12/2018 16:13:01: [G_Auto] : Automation Signal for 1 - 1: goal = 1
15/12/2018 16:53:22: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended

EDIT: i just realised my unsuspended condition needs changing, the reason it fired at 16:11:55 is the unsuspended from 15:00:49 satisfied the condition. There were goals at 4, 51 and 60 minutes in this game. It seems that detecting goals by a shift in odds is the way people here are doing it?
Is there a straightforward goal rule? Its a pain that goals are not more easily used, are there any plans about this? I mean, tennis scores are updated in play, is there a reason why football scores are not ?

In general, 8 ticks is far too few. A free kick in a very dangerous position, for which there may well be no suspension, could easily move the price 8 ticks.

In this case could Guardian have missed the suspend/unsuspend for the 1st goal because Guardian was cycling through lots of matches rather slowly?

Hi, Its certainly possible, i had about 150 in the list at 200mS. I had thought the refresh would be on active rules (within a rules time constraint), with about 60 being concurrent. I will try reducing the list.
I will look at the tick size.

thanks

The refresh applies to all markets within Guardian; not just those with active rules applied. Try using streaming with a 20ms refresh to reduce the cycling rate.
