Back or Lay not matched

Hi everyone,

If we place a trade, with Market Maker for e.g. and only one half of the trade is matched, what is the best way to close/cancel the trade to avoid a loss?

Any tips/tricks much appreciated

Try and scratch the trade asap.

- If the back gets taken then try and lay at the same price
- If the lay gets taken then try and back at the same price
