Hi,

I have used Bet Angel for many years, but I have been on a break for a while and I have decided that I would start up again. I thought I would start with small stakes to get back into the swing of things, I seem to be having a problem with the greening up. Maybe it's because its small stakes or something. It showed I could green up for about £1.70 on all horse. anyway clicked it and did its stuff came back one horse was at £4+ and rest at about £1.50ish so tried to green up again and it just sat in the unmatched bets at 1.01 and wouldn't change to get it matched like it used to do.

So my question now is there a problem with trying to green up under £2.00. I have had the same problem on a couple of other races too but they were for about 20p. But it used to green up on small stakes before.

Thanks

Jimmy

It's a Betfair issue, they have tweaked something without telling Bet Angel (it will probably be back to normal soon)

There are some issues with Betfair's API causing errors when trying to green up with small stakes

Hopefully they're doing something to stop penny shavers. An absolute minimum new bet of 5-10 pence wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the replies, I had hoped that Betfair was a bit more stable after my break.  Not a lot has changed at Betfair then.

Must say as a new user this is very helpful as I though I had clicked a setting somewhere to stop it :) , but loving the experience so far

When testing a new strategy or bot it is an issue. When playing 100s of markets simultaneously and laying odd above 2 it IS an issue. It might not be for those who have plenty of money but for those starting out it is. It isn't just penny shavers - it is testers. I sure as hell am not paper trading 200 markets a day for 2 weeks or doing it in PLAY MODE when everything gets matched all the time - live testing of automation needs to be at very low stakes to see your data and trends. We were all trading low stakes once. It isn't fair to pull the ladder up behind us.
