I am just new to this trading, but I would be interested to hear some more experienced traders views on the weight of money indicator.

As I understand it this indicator does not discriminate between real money in the market and spoofing money. So is it reliable as an indicator, and does anyone think it could be modified to discount this fake money which is surely in some instances skewing the WOM trending graph.....

The WOM is one of a number of factors traders will consider when placing a bet. You're right, some of the money is there to trick people. I've even done it myself on some football & tennis markets, but I guess it's experience that can seperate real money from ghost money. I certainly think it's impossible to see these amounts broken down. Realistically, the only person who knows if that's a genuine bet is the trader himself
