That one especially as it was pleasing to see Liverpool as the team to hold the top for the longest period from 79-94

BBC4 documentary about this was good:

Time delay/distances had to accomodate :
Ice movement in Antartica and volcanic action in Hawaii.
0.5m daily altitude change cause by the moon distorting the earth.
