Hi Sdistfano

I never took your statements a criticism. If it appears that way, my apologies.

The way I look at it is this:

The Betfair markets are, for all intents and purposes, perfect. So, on average, a horse that is trading on Betfair at 4.0 will win 1 in 4 of its races.

Therefore, when you take into account commission, all systems will lose unless you can find an edge i.e. find value.

Now, most people have 'hunches'. Women have 'intuition'. Let's, if you like, call it 'insticts'.

Most people ignore their 'instincts' because they are 'unscientific' and unexplainable. All I've done is learn to trust my 'insticts' and use them probably a lot more than most. My theory is that they have become sharper as a result.

I don't see what's wrong with combining solid mathmatics with the psychic stuff. It has definitely given me enough of an edge to win pretty consistently. AND, you have to admit, the dog results aren't too shabby.

If the results were total shash, then people have got justifiable cause to criticise. But, when a system turns in decent profits for over 3 years, you have to sit up and take notice.

Psycho
