I dropped a place to Simon so going to be a close finish this year

With due respect to Tom i never actually count him as an proper enterant with him following the same method each round, I do think its handy and like the fact it gives a consistant benchmark score to beat each year though.
You could obvioustly guarantee to finish above him if you enter the same scores he will, but then will either Si or me catch you ;)

1st is great but to be in the top 5 would be nice too. Especially considering the minds that occupy the league.

It'll be a well deserved win for you after being well out ahead for over 95% of the season, tbh i'd actually feel a bit guilty if i pipped you now :)

My target from the start was always the top 5, it's now only me and Peter that have managed it in each of the previous years but he's got some ground to make up if he's to do it again this year.

It was only last month when i got within touching distance of you that I even starting thinking of maybe winning it this year after I was on the verge of calling it a day at the start of the year after missing 3 rounds in Nov/Dec

Despite everything else thats happened this year at least its produced a good competition

With the season set to continue forever, I think I may just make the top five again despite missing several rounds.

On the flip side, in a parallel universe somewhere, Leicester & Fulham don't get 90th min goals & you're sitting 2nd tonight :P

I don't count you as a proper player Simon. Your just following a system. Guess what you really think the score will be next season rather than just the statistically frequent 1-0 1-0 1-0 2-0 2-0 ete etc yawn. For cash play the stats, but for fun play the game. ;)

That's the problem of having a trader's league - fun, what's fun? fun is winning :)

That said, if you look through my results I have done the odd 2-1 & 3-0. The problem is when I do that Tom tends to pick up points on me

Story of the season for me, for every late/injury time goal that goes in my favour there are 3 or 4 that go against me!

I'd probably be in the top 5 of the overall leaderboard if matches ended at 80min

I see a lot of people missed the matches this evening! Chance for me to catch up?

Dallas, I have no idea how you plucked together the Preston result but hat is off to you, certainly outside of the box from my perspective! Top 4 is gonna be a grind.
