Just watched the in-play for 7pm Wolverhampton. Game All was withdrawn just before the start - too late to remove from list of runners. As the race progressed Game All's price went out slightly until at something like 6.2, £2333 was trying to get matched at that price - which effectively stopped it going out any further. The real fun started towards the finish of the race when it was backed into odds-on in opposition to the eventual winner. I can only imagine it was a ploy to artificially inflate the eventual winner's price in running - with no risk of losing the spoofing stakes. What do you think?

Wyndon,

Im not sure Im getting what you are saying.

Are you sure the horse/dog was withdrawn and didnt run and yet it was backed into favourite inplay even though it wasnt running?

Sorry, if i have not understood it but as no one else asked I thought id ask.

That's it exactly. Backed to odds-on in the dying seconds of the race - I assume in the hope that it would trigger some bots to lengthen the price of the eventual winner.

Just goes to show how much real money is actually in the horse racing markets.
