Betfair changing orders of runners

I am using index match function in excel sheet,will these functions work ie cell b9 being favourite ltp in cell k9. Favourite moves to cell b11 becoming 2nd favourite ltp now in cell k11, will my listing column of ltp still report value of cell k9 or change to k11.
Basically wanting to know if match function searches for cell or uses data within cell to report.
