I'm running Excel 2007 running in compatibility mode and the Betangel multiple spreadsheet through Guardian.
I'm trying to lay the draw on a football match once it goes inplay.
I'm testing the formula
=if(C3>F3,"LAY OFFSET:40 WITH_GREENING:TRUE STOP:70 TRAILING_STOP:TRUE","")
with odds of 5 and a stake of 2.
I've tested the BA part of the expression and it fires so there is no syntax error. i've also tested the if statement separately (i.e replacing the BA formula with a 1 and that works.)
I've checked out other posts and this seems to be a different issue
any ideas?
Alan
PS I know the answer with be blindingly obvious but at the moment not to me!
Excel Error unable to clear
If you type the expression directly into the cell does it work ok then?
It looks ok to me to be honest.
If the expression is fine it may be your stake or odds. Make sure these are valid and that your stake is rounded to 2 decimal figures if you use a formula to calculate it.

yes typing it in directly works and the stakes are put in manually.
