Is it possible to auto trade via excel in running using the following scenario?


Prior to the off I like the look of a particular horse but only want to back it if from its good draw it holds its position and makes the running, it is however 12.5 on the exchange.

The likelyhood is that if it does as I would like from the off its odds will tumble, that I can accept because it is running the race I had envisaged if it is likely to win and I now want a peice of the action.

So what I want excel to do is when (In running) money is matched at a predetermined set of odds ie 3.75 (Significantly lower than the pre race odds of 12.5) fire in a back bet at say 3.50 so that I can get my peice of action.

Obviously if it does'nt run the race I envisage then it will not have anything matched at 3.75 therefore excel will not fire my back bet into the market.

Is this possible?

If so can anyone help me out?
