Hi,

I am trying to make an automation but I am not sure whether it can be done and wondered if anyone could help.

The first part of my bet is to place a lay bet 30 mins before the off only if the price is lower than it was 30 seconds ago- This bit i have done.

Then I want to place a back bet only if the odds drift a couple of ticks higher than the odds I got matched on my lay bet- This is the bit i don't know how to do :?

Thanks

On the parameters tab under 'Global Settings' select either offset bet or offset bet with greening and enter the number of ticks you want.
To place the offset only after the lay is matched also tick the fill/kill box

Thanks for the quick reply Dallas. That makes sense now, I think I'm trying to over complicate things haha!

I am just adding the offset now but am unsure about the fill/kill order.

If I set the time for the fill/kill to 30 seconds does that mean that after 30 seconds the back bet waiting to be matched a few ticks above the lay bet I placed will be cancelled?

Fill or kill seconds only apply to your opening bet, this thread details how it works

Once both bets have been matched will the bet re-trigger or is there something i have to do to make it re-trigger?

On the 'General' tab of the rules editor you can specify the number of times you want the rule to trigger.
To prevent it from just firing in bets each time it re-arms it would be worth adding the following condition
'Number of unmatched bets condition'
on 'selection'
is 'equal' to 0

I have been playing around with it on practice mode and just wanted to ask one more question.

Say my initial lay bet gets matched but the odds continue to shorten right up until the off and my back bet doesn't get matched. Is there a way to put an order in for the back price in play only if it doesn't get matched before the off?

You can add another rule type either 'keep bets' or 'take sp' and set it to trigger just before the off, they will take care of any unmatched bets once the race goes in-running

Hi,

I am on the betdaq version of betangel and I’m trying to figure out how to “green out” at “X % of stake

For example

I place a £15 lay bet at odds of 15.00
So the stake is £1
I would like to be able to get 10% of this stake
And of it goes against me then 20% loss of this stake ?
So either 10p win or 20p loss
Thanks

Thanks Dallas,

Is there antiheroes way to do it where you actually use the %? Rather than just saying you want “£3 profit”

Just because everytime the odds change on my lay selections so will my desired profit......
