To be fair, the defender touched him with his left leg.
The attacker overreacted for sure, but there was contact.

Don't know the rules but they may be being exploited and need examining.
I sometimes wonder if these guys are blissfully unaware that the match is being filmed from many angles with many cameras and in some cases watched by millions of people. It's all well and good getting the free kick, but it's hardly worth sacrificing your self-respect for it!
