I've been having the occasional hour where my vision goes really distorted (optician says it's nerve damage and has to be worse before surgery)
I figure the only ailment that would stop me trading would be blindness, anything else you could work around somehow with tech.
Has anyone got insurance for that sort of thing? I had similar when I was a desk jockey but this has made me wonder if it's doable in this job.

Hi Shaun,
On the basis that you can take out critical health cover for heart attack, cancer or stroke, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a type of insurance you could get.
Of course, the other challenge is getting the insurer to pay out! You often read about insurance companies disputing claims..."Client had the wrong type of heart attack" etc.
Silly question - but do you take regular breaks from your screen and just go and look out of the window?
