Screen recording Mac / Windows

Morning All
Appreciate any help on this please , I use a Mac with a VPS which is windows based from bet Angel , I'm going to try and do screen recordings , something I have never done or attempted before , my problem is do I use software for the Mac or the Windows , I have just got my head around a Windows programme being on my Mac , and I don't want to mess it up . I know some of you use Mac , do any of you use the VPS as well .

If your using a Mac then any mac screen recording software will do the job

You don't have Windows on your computer, you are connecting remotely to a VPS which happens to be running windows
