Hello,
So I am a noobie and I have been watching the betangelTV videos. I notice that all the presets on the ladder interface are 10, 64, 128, 512, 256, 1024 etc....
Then I checked mine betangel install, which are still set to default, mine are 2, 10, 50, 1000, etc....
I can see some logic in not using round numbers, but just wondered if there might be a specific reason why 64, 128, 512, 1024, etc might be used instead?
Thank you for your thoughts
Why do betangel videos use have presets like 64,128,512, etc
Most humans have a tendency to use round numbers, so I don't use them. That way any order I have in the market is less likely to be spotted by others.
I'll often use a different base when I stake. So what you are looking at there is base 2.

I didn't realise it was to make your tracks harder to follow, I thought that if you're varying your position then it's just simpler to use multiples. 2, 4, 8, 16 was my natural choice when I first started because it's logical and anything else is just arbitary. It also has the benefit of being able to enter any stake you want with the fewest clicks, without changing presets.

i assume he is looking at 10, 64, 128, 512, 256, 1024 etc which are all decimals.
"So what you are looking at there is base 2." how are they binary or base2? they are all base10/decimals.
