I've never subscribed to the channel and thought I'd have to now they have a near monopoly, but the recent criticism and contempt they have shown for their viewers have made me think again.

As a trader, I only really need to know when a race is about to start, and with the sheer number of meetings they're covering I'd be lucky to get much notice, if any at all.
You seem to be trading pretty much 24/7 yet aren't prepared to fork out a fiver a week :o Prices move all the while simply because of what's happening on screen, horses bolting/playing up none of which you're likely to see on the betfair feed. Even to simply free up your PC from the BF feed must be worth a fiver a week for a full timer.

I have to agree with SB - sometimes you have to spend money to make money and this would definitely be one of those cases. The pictures pay for themselves (even at full price) many times over during the course of the year. I wouldn't trade without them.

It didn't come off but the 4:10pm at Stratford was a perfect example of why pictures are so key. The original favourite was showing no interest in moving when RTV switched their pictures to it, my quick reactions and the slight speed over BF LV in the pictures let me lay a large amount at around 4.0 before most people clocked it, had I been relying on the BFLV the price would have gone most likely, SSR it is the other way around, BFLV is faster. The price shot out like crazy within a few seconds and I just sat and closed out at various prices around 5.2 for a healthy 3 figure green.

Unfortunately the horse was Withdrawn but had it run that would have been a lovely green just thanks to having the pictures. Over the course of the year you get several such occurrences especially on the flat from horses playing up.

Pictures pay for themselves many times over.

I may subscribe once I've moved and settled in, but I became disillusioned with TV pictures after missing the start of a couple of races on ATR, never mind missing horses playing up, and the bad publicity Racing UK or whatever they're called now, about the way they covered the Irish racing the other Saturday has hardly encouraged me.

By the way SB, I have two computers for trading (still want more screen space) and keep live feeds on a tablet, which seems to work well.

The reason I asked the question was I recently signed up to a service which includes RUK, which I was paying £25 per month for. Plus 5000 other channels including every thing else: Sky/Bt/virgin. Appox £30 p/m but share it and get your service free. Watch on TV/Phone/laptop/desktop/others too. Oh, and for Footy fans like me even watch the Saturday 3 o'clock kick offs live. You cant do that on Sky/Bt!!
Sorry for the sales pitch but its the bargain of the centuary. :D

My big problem is that my TV is an another room. I'd like a wall of TV screens in my study like I was in a NASA control room, but that idea has not found favour with my wife.

I can't bear to watch ITV because of that awful, awful Chapman man. I had a poor day yesterday, made all the worse by his constant content-free bleating. I would strongly prefer never, to hear from him ever, ever, again.

He's nearly as bad as Glenn Hoddle.

So the real reason you asked was simply to lead into you posting your referral link for some dodgy feeds :)

+1

Also the price he is paying is very expensive and not the bargain of the century he thinks. So no one be tempted by the link please.

Hopefully Admin will delete his link and ban him.

Loving the feedback thanks. No dodgy feeds 100% legal just wish I knew of it after years of paying for Sky and RUK.

$39 (Approx £30) and you get $10 off your bill if you want to share it. No contract.
