Missing Chapter: How to Read a Market

I've been trying to learn how to read the markets for awhile now and still struggling. Please could you advise me how you learn't. I've watched all the BetAngel videos and Peter often suggest the market is going to do this, that or the other and I find myself screaming at the video "Why Why why do you think that will happen" I understand the physiological aspect along with all the different strategies. I wish there was a chapter "How to read a market". Looking at this market I suggest it will de X Y Z and why???? Can anybody help me out and how to read a market?

Its a big question really and its a journey of a thousand miles but I believe James1st makes some excellent points here for newbies to go to school on.
