It would be helpful if there were an option for an automatic bet to copy the name of the selection into Guardian's Nominated column.

At present my ruleset doesn't know which selection will be bet/layed in advance, so identifying it in-running is a bit of a pain, which although not insurmountable, would be made much easier if once a back or lay bet were filled the runners name was copied over.

You could use signals for this - set a signal as soon as a selection/s has had a bet/s triggered or matched on it

Then use the signal as a condition for other rules to either target or avoid these selections

I already use signals like this, but you have to have a separate signal "Layed1", "Layed2", "Layed3" ...etc. for every possible selection in every race and then a set of in-play rules for every possible selection. "If Layed 1 signal has value, Back selection 1", "If Layed 2 has value. Back selection 2".... etc. It works, but it makes for a huge automation rules list that is cumbersome to manage and edit and its easy to make a mistake. If, when the bet was originally triggered the selection was copied to "nominated" your in-play rules could just target that.

Just a thought for a quiet day on the prgramming department.
