I sometimes try to upload photos from my iPhone, but they always fail as being too large.

Can u fix this ? Or is there an easier way for me to limit the depth of picture.

Thx

I know that whatsapp compresses photos, maybe try whatsapping it first then grabbing the whatsappd version of the photo.

otherwise, this app seems to do the trick and is well reviewed: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/image-s ... 66542?mt=8

Yes, always does it to me so I just dont bother loading any photos here. Not worth the hassle to resize a picture.

You could switch to using the front camera as that has a lower resolution, if it's not a close up shot it should be easy enough to aim. You can also switch off HDR I think.

With the i-phone 7 and it's 12 MB camera, when I click on an image or several images, then attach it to an email, it usually pops up with an option of the file size that I'd like to send, with 4 or so options, dependent on the resolution that I have chosen on the camera settings.

Yeah .. thx etc.

I just want to take a pic with my phone, open the forum in a browser, and add an attachment photo.

I can’t .. and it stops info (which may or may not be useful).

Am not gonna go thru hoops etc.

I think there is a size restriction on uploads to keep the storage of attachments manageable. I'll check next time I look at the back end.
