Hi,

I would like my automation to be able to distinguish between a concerted push and a spike in the order queue.

Would it be possible augment the WoM condition to choose either the WoM at this present moment (pre-existing) or to request the mean WoM percentage over a preceding number of seconds.

I would be grateful if traders could comment on whether there is practical benefit in such information?

Possible downsides:

1) All moving averages are lagging indicators.

2) Perhaps the WoM is inherently erratic and thereby making the mean of little worth.

I just have a nagging suspicion that my WoM automation conditional is being triggered by a fleeting spike.

Thanks for any feedback!

Martin

You can build it, via stuff, but it would be **great** to be able
To request wom from -125 secs from start time, to -120 secs.

*stuff .. am on a beach, and brain tuned out.

Try and tune it in to spare a thought for us here in the UK, most of us are either snowed in or iced in!

Far cry from what it is here, as a pic from Peter a few days ago shows
