Have a look at the prosilver style. The font is smaller and the layout more compressed - you might prefer it.

Great that's much better, personally I would want all colors removed but that's me :D

We've just added the forum style 'prosilver Special Edition'.
Same design as prosilver, but a with a much calmer colour palette.

thanks for the special edition version.. appreciate that the choice is there. minor gripe, the #wrap css element is a fixed width of 850px, perhaps that could be changed to match the standard prosilver version which has attributes of:

max-width: 1152px;
min-width: 625px;

just a thought for consistency and compatibility across devices... (tbh -i'm very happy with the prosilver version, especially now that the new posts and active topics links have been promoted to the top level)

could i humbly request a small edit to the prosilver template which would both tackle duplication and save further space.

the link that says < Go to advanced search is superfluous as the little gear icon (highlighted in yellow) on the search box does the same thing. this would then reduce the header size by a further 30%. simply deleting the <p class="advanced-search-link">...</p> element would sort this out.

I was struggling with the mobile version as I was not seeing the last thread that someone had posted into. I just realised on Android you can select the desktop version on the phone and I personally think it is much better viewing the desktop version than the mobile version on the phone.

Mobile version is below and I wasn't seeing the last post to the thread. It was like below and I found it a bit annoying as I usually just look at the last posted thread

If you click on view active topics that shows last post.

I must be blind as I can't see active topics. Unless you mean go into the category such as horse racing. Anyway, for me the desktop option works nice how I like it so it's fine.

Maybe you are viewing a cached version? You should see the link top left to the right of the hamburger icon on a mobile device.

Hi,

Is there an option to always view links in new tabs, rather than opening in the current tab/page? Obviously I can right-click, but that's an extra click each time and, well, life is busy enough as it is... :D

Thanks

Firefox and Chrome will do this using Ctrl - Click. I'm not sure about IE.
