We have been alerted to a recent change in the law in Denmark that may affect your connection to Betfair.

We asked Betfair to clarify. Their response is below:
Betfair obtained a licence in Denmark in December last year and has been operating under the licence since 1 January 2012. One of the requirements of the new law is for customers to provide their CPR number. Customers who failed to provide their CPR number before 1 January had their accounts suspended. Customers can provide their CPR either by sending an email with their username and CPR number to [email protected] or call the support on +45 32714661. Once they have provided their CPR number their accounts will be reactivated within approx. 24 hours, however please note there may be delays due to big workload and approval is not done in the weekends. Once reactivated they will be able to use their account normally including via the API.

There are a few changes that may be required to 3rd party applications under the new law and we will get back to you in the coming weeks to confirm what these will be.
