Betfair site upgrade today

We noticed that the site is back now but there appears to be a problem with one of the Betfair API servers. This is causing unmatched bet to appear and disappear. Non API mode is find. We have alerted Betfair to this problem.

Looks like they may have rebooted the server as the problem has gone away.

Not for me it hasn't. I'm using excel and placing fill or kill bets with offsets + greening. I have had a bet just get matched, the offsetting bet has not been entered, and my P/L for the market is flashing between zero and the correct P/L.

Betfair just confirmed they are working on it and it should be resolved soon.

I've also just had a fill or kill bet be entered as a normal bet. ie. It's not been cancelled.

Hi BA, just looking at the 12:30 and the ladder interface is showing my unmatched bets at the money as being matched, i.e. the price jumps and takes the order, but then it jumps back again to show the orders as still being unmatched which is what they actually are? Is this due to a particular API issue and if so what mode should we log in under to avoid this?

Mode one seems ok as does the new version of Bet Angel, but you will lose some API features if you connect in mode one. Let us investigate the exact cause.

I am getting loads of duff info returning to me on mode 9.

If it is only the API that has a problem then you may want to connect in mode one, non API mode. You will lose some API characteristics using this mode.

I always use mode 1 and it is a lot slower than normal today.
