Betfair charting 'optical illusion'
Is there any accurate charts then that you can get up without having to have the market running? I mean it is all good to have advanced charting, but unless you are actively loading data through BetAngel, then your chart is not actively updating. If you switch markets, the chart resets yeah?
Am I right in thinking that you can't load up the market history in your advanced charting when loading up a market to get an accurate chart in the format that you want?

Goto Guardian and load all the markets you are interested in, into that. It will sit in the background and collect data for you as the day progresses.
Unfortunately thanks to quirky Betfair restrictions we are not allowed to store this data locally for you to scroll backwards and forwards. Though we are trying to work to this as an objective. For the moment you will be limited to storing the data in memory while the application is active.
